These are general updates and fixes. They are model specific and may not apply to your unit. Most models have similar updates. There are numerous unpublished updates for internal machine functionality.

Bug Fixes

• REC Lamp may stay lit.
• CUE-UP Error occurs in the cart system.
• In AUTO EDIT, editing is completed at the point before the OUT point.
• CTL may not count properly when the tape that is recorded in normal recording mode is played back with editing controller.
• Cylinder Control Phase corrected.
• When black is input to SDI IN, the input level meter swings to full-scale deflection momentarily.
• When the power is turned from OFF to ON, UBG value is reset to "00:00:00:00". Now it gets backed up.

Improved Performance:

• DVCAM Compatibility.
• Transition from FF/REW to STILL is slow compared with that from FF/REW to STOP.
• If there is noise in the Mode switch signal from mechanism, unit will give UNLOAD ERROR.
• When performing REC before detecting the tape beginning during REW, the AUTO OFF "S-FF/REW TIME OVER" may occur.
• AUTO OFF "WIND-UP ERROR" may occur when a Large 184 minute cassette is ran in DV or DVCAM mode right after power on.
• Abnormal sound may occur during X-9.5 mode.
